Ever heard that really great song, and always wondered what the @$#% they were singing about? Well, then I might have great news for you. I've got this slight tic to collect songtexts of all the songs I like (so as to be able to sing/yell them along, out loud). So, if you're interested in reading or downloading some songtexts, or if you want to contribute to the list, take a look at my songtext page.
One of my biggest interests (at the moment) is robotics. I am therefore making (or at least trying to make) my own autonomous robot. Main ingredients: an old 8086 XT computer, a dash of self-made electronics, a cognitive (artificially intelligent?) central processing program. Interested? Then take a look at my robot page. Down there, you will find the criteria, the design of both hardware and software, the progress, and some links to other robot sites.
Since a while I am programming a lot in Java, and have thus discovered the Wonderful World of Applets. For the ones who do not know what they are: they're little computer programs that can run on your page, showing flashy graphics, games or whatever else you want. I have made some small but quite nice applets that can be put on web-pages, which are free to download from my applet page. Down there are also the instructions on how to integrate applets on your page.
I have been able to write some (quite good?) software stuff. And since I do not believe in the concept of ShareWare, I have made it all FREEWARE!!!! To look at these programs and to download them, go to my software page. Try it; the range of programs is quite broad (from developing tools to games). There will probably also be something of your interest in there.
If you want to know more about the person behind X 74, look at my interests page. Down there, you will be able to explore and marvel about the ... , anyway, if you want, take a look. There are also some links to other things as well.
Now, what is a homepage without a cool links part? There are really some cool links in there, although that is of course purely my opinion. Take a look and see for yourself; the only way to really know whether or not I am exaggerating.
